These applications had been testing in the Google Sandbox for quite some time now and were also open for reviews. The initial line up looks good, with some apps from Indian sites like minglebox, and zoomtra and others from sites like slide, ilike etc. basically focusing on books, movies and travel.

This is the start of the exciting new phase for orkut, the online social networking hub in India.Like Facebook, we will soon see the entire web bandwagon designing apps for orkut, which I'm sure will be lapped up by the Orkut hooked Indian audience which has been relentless thus far and has shown no signs of the so called Social networking fatigue!

It also comes in at a time when Google is looking to monetize Orkut big time after achieving the kind of user base and page views. The applications feature is a winner, and is sure to escalate the real estate prices at Orkut !!!

The all time best 'BUSHISMS' : 'isms' series Part I

Many of us have heard about Mr. Bush and his much famous oratory skills. In his tenure as president of the U.S., he's spoken things, most hilarious, and of which some make no sense, and some make a completely different sense altogether...

I guess he's better off with a script, an extempore is just not his style.......

Do go through the entire list, it's a great read!!

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." Washington, D.C., March 13, 2002

"Tribal sovereignty means that; it's sovereign. I mean, you're a — you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 6, 2004 (Watch video)

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.'' Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001
